After initially thinking it would cost me an arm and a leg, I found a $188 plane fare to Michigan (to visit family) over the Thanksgiving holiday. Phew.
I'm slowly finding out that travel is not nearly as expensive as I previously thought it was (if you look hard enough). And to think, all I needed was a girlfriend that lived on the opposite side of the country to figure this out. ^_^;
Entirely unrelated, I posted a look at Makoto Yukimura's (Planetes) new manga, Vinland Saga, over at mangacast. Vikings rule.
